AI Thread Summary
A current NPR program features question-and-answer sessions between voters and California legislators, union leaders, and Arnold Schwarzenegger, sparking interest in local political discussions. Participants express a desire to discuss the propositions covered in the program, suggesting the idea of creating separate threads for each proposition to facilitate focused discussions. There is a question about whether this approach would be acceptable to forum administration, highlighting the community's engagement with local political issues.

There's a good program on NPR right now, if anybody in California is interested in hearing some question-and-answer sessions between voters and legislators/union leaders/Arnold. We could discuss this if anyone wants to, but it is a bit of a local issue.

Peru was still suffering the ills of a recent civil war and I knew it was dicey, but the money was too good to pass up. It was a long trip to Lima; about 14 hours of airtime...
