AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers around a recent movie adaptation of a John le Carré work. The film is described as a classic representation of le Carré's style, featuring strong performances that maintain viewer engagement. While the movie is deemed decent and worth watching, it lacks standout qualities that would make it exceptional. A notable point of critique is the plot element where a character could have simply published a report online, which some found illogical and detracting from the overall narrative. The viewer expresses a diminished interest in reading the book after watching the film.
