AI Thread Summary
Quantum fluctuations are proposed to be the origin of both large-scale cosmological structures and human-scale structures. Initial density variations from these fluctuations lead to the formation of galaxies, stars, and planets. The theory suggests that while these fluctuations set the stage, the final structures are influenced by random variations that occur later in cosmic history. There is a lack of detailed analysis regarding how these fluctuations specifically affect human-scale and atomic-scale structures. Understanding this connection could provide deeper insights into the nature of cosmic evolution and structure formation.

Are primordial fluctuations the source of all structure?
Hello friends .
I was asking whether quantum fluctuations created not only large scale cosmological structure but also our human-scale structure.
There is no mention and analysis of this aspect of the theory .
Please can anyone analyze it for me . How these quantum fluctuations create our human scale density variations and also atomic scale.

The initial fluctuations cause density variations that eventually collapse into galaxies, stars and planets. Quantum phenomena aren't completely predetermined, however, so the exact final structure isn't completely predetermined by the initial fluctuations because it also depends on random variation later in history.

I do not think so
Quantum fluctuations are not random . They are governed by equations.

The equations we have predict probabilities of outcomes. Exact outcomes are, however, unpredictable as far as we know. So yes, the fluctuations are random.

No, they didn't.

That's because the theory does not, and is not intended to, account for structure on human scales.

More generally, the theory, by which I assume you mean our best current cosmological model of the universe including quantum fluctuations that left "imprints" in the initial conditions at the end of inflation, does not, and is not intended to, account for any structure that is not the result of gravitational clumping due to inhomogeneities in density.

You should be careful about making categorical statements of "fact" when your "fact" is in fact wrong. This is a a science forum and as member @PAllen said many moons ago
Note, we are not called the "idle speculation without understanding or knowledge forums".

Abstract The Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) has significantly advanced our ability to study black holes, achieving unprecedented spatial resolution and revealing horizon-scale structures. Notably, these observations feature a distinctive dark shadow—primarily arising from faint jet emissions—surrounded by a bright photon ring. Anticipated upgrades of the EHT promise substantial improvements in dynamic range, enabling deeper exploration of low-background regions, particularly the inner shadow...
