Although there is a very close connection between light and our understanding of time, the two cannot really be thought of as "the same thing". Or at least, no way i can think of. But the speed of light could be thought of as being the speed of time.

lol sorry, i was just having an argument with someone about this, and they tried to convince me that light and time were the same. So i made this account

Its actually a very interesting topic of study. The two subjects whave soo much in common, that assuming they were the same wouldent be wrong, but it wouldent quite be right. Only time will tell.
