What are busbars, and why are they so important in every power panel. What do they use. Are they part of protective circuitry?? Can someone tell to me the components of Busbars and how they are maintained. I haven't come along any comprehensive explanation over the internet.

Thanking you,
Mehrzad

Not too much to them as far as I know. I would want to make sure that the bolts/nuts circuit connections are tight enough. Probably want to use a torque wrench to check on a periodic schedule. Heres a wiki link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Busbar"
