AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers around an upcoming event related to the Chinese New Year celebration at NTU, which is anticipated to be a great occasion. Registration details are not yet available on the website, but it has been confirmed that the event is open to anyone willing to pay a fee of S$300. This fee may limit attendance primarily to those who can afford it, suggesting that it may not be accessible to most students. Interest in attending is expressed, particularly by those who will be in Singapore during the event.

Is it open to all students? If I'm there in singapore during that time, I'll definitely be interested in attending.

Frito had purchased a snack food plant near Lima, Peru, and sent me down to oversee the upgrades to the systems and the startup. Peru was still suffering the ills of a recent civil war and I knew it was dicey, but the money was too good to pass up. It was a long trip to Lima; about 14 hours of airtime...
