AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers around connecting a Wii to the internet using a cable. The original poster considers using a specific cable linked from Amazon but questions whether it can be directly plugged into the Wii and a router's USB port. Participants clarify that the Wii does not support direct USB connections for internet access and recommend purchasing a LAN adapter instead. They emphasize that a standard RJ45 Ethernet cable is necessary for the connection, as the Wii requires a compatible LAN adapter to connect to the internet via Ethernet.

I was thinking of buying this cable:

to connect my Wii to the internet. I was thinking of buying this wire and directly plugging one end into the Wii, and the other end into the router's USB port.

Will this work? Or will I need to buy a LAN adapter because the Wii does not have the right LAN input?

Can AI do everything a human can do and how close are we to that? 2. Are corporations and governments using the promise of AI to gain more power for themselves? 3. Are AI and transhumans...
Thread 'ChatGPT Examples, Good and Bad'
I've been experimenting with ChatGPT. Some results are good, some very very bad. I think examples can help expose the properties of this AI. Maybe you can post some of your favorite examples and tell us what they reveal about the properties of this AI. (I had problems with copy/paste of text and formatting, so I'm posting my examples as screen shots. That is a promising start. But then I provided values V=1, R1=1, R2=2, R3=3 and asked for the value of I. At first, it said...
