If you are letting x= cos(\theta) then dx= cos(\theta)d\theta. It looks to me like you forgot that cos(\theta).

Yes it did forget! but wouldn't by dx= sin \vartheta

If x = cos(\theta), then dx = -sin(\theta)d\theta
