AI Thread Summary
A new advancement in small arms technology allows soldiers to fire from behind cover, exposing only the barrel of the rifle to hostile fire. This innovation represents a significant evolution in weapon design, enhancing soldier safety and tactical effectiveness. The discussion contrasts this development with historical anecdotes about military spending, suggesting skepticism about the practicality and cost-effectiveness of such technology compared to simpler alternatives used by other nations. The conversation highlights a broader theme of innovation versus traditional methods in military equipment.

I don't normally post articles like this about weapons, but this is quite an evolution in small arms technology.

US spends billions on gun that shoots around obstacles. Russians use grenades.

You mean russians use hand gun and mirror?

I've been experimenting with ChatGPT. Some results are good, some very very bad. I think examples can help expose the properties of this AI. Maybe you can post some of your favorite examples and tell us what they reveal about the properties of this AI. (I had problems with copy/paste of text and formatting, so I'm posting my examples as screen shots. That is a promising start. But then I provided values V=1, R1=1, R2=2, R3=3 and asked for the value of I. At first, it said...

Last night I had four docs with a red circle, one with blue. When I closed the blue and opened it again it was red. Today I have 3...
