AI Thread Summary
A user is seeking a photo of mathematician and economist Charles Wiggins Cobb, known for the Cobb-Douglas production function. Despite efforts, they have found little information and are requesting assistance in locating an electronic image or a scanned photo from a book. Suggestions include contacting the Math Department or Library at Amherst College for potential resources. There is also a note regarding a possible error on the Amherst College economics department website, which incorrectly references a James Cobb.

Hello,
I need to find a photo of the mathematician and economist Charles Wiggins Cobb (most known for his Cobb-Douglas production function). I have managed to gather little data on him but would really need to obtain a picture whether it is in electronic format, or if anybody has a book containing his photo laying around and can scan it (the photo) for me.
Any help would be grately appreciated. Google didn't really come through for me this time.

I had posted them at another forum, and I thought you may be interested in them as well. History is fascinating stuff! Some houses may have had plugs, but many homes just screwed the appliance into the light socket overhead. Does anyone know when electric wall plugs were in widespread use? 1906 ad DDTJRAC Even big...
