I was wondering why you hadn't just reported the post, until I looked at the thread. Those are great animations. Anyone who has to teach chemistry should be pointed to that thread...much easier to understand with those than with pictures in a textbook.

Oh dear! I think most students already think chemistry professors are bananas. That would definitely not help.

This also makes me think of a film clip I saw once, showing a traffic cop standing in the middle of an intersection with a baton in each hand, directing traffic as if he were in a ballet.
