AI Thread Summary
Accoona, a search engine sponsored by the Chinese government, is significantly outperformed by Google in search result quality. A direct comparison of search results for the query "Taiwan independence" reveals that Accoona returns less relevant results, such as links to Amazon.com, while Google provides more pertinent information, including resources from the Taiwan independence party. This highlights the impact of China's censorship on search engine effectiveness, leading to less informative outcomes on Accoona compared to Google.

although its sponsored by China's government, google still surpasses it. (i tried the same query on both and google found me a *much* better page)

China censors the search results into oblivion. Just compare the google (US) and accoona for "taiwan independence". Accoona comes up with Amazon.com while google comes up with the taiwan independence party.

thats really funny :)

Last night I had four docs with a red circle, one with blue. When I closed the blue and opened it again it was red. Today I have 3...
