Hi Friends,

Is anybody please tell me which heater is more efficient (which one I have to choose in order to reduce my electrical bill) 220V electric heater or 110V electric heater for the house or if I choose 1500W heater in 110V or 220V is that make any difference

Ideally there would be no difference (same power, same bill), however the 220V heater will waste less power in heating your house wires. So, 220v is better.
 
The last answer omits the fact that most of your house wiring would also be heating the house. You would gain more by considering how heat is lossed.

Just so you know why, wattage is the product of volts times amperes. So a 1500 watt load designed for 110 volts will draw 13.64 amps, at 220 pulls 6.82 amps. As mentioned, the only difference is slightly more or less heating of the house wiring.

I have recently moved into a new (rather ancient) house and had a few trips of my Residual Current breaker. I dug out my old Socket tester which tell me the three pins are correct.
