I just talked to my boss and it seems that if I want to get paid this week I need to go pick up my check in person. That means I'm driving to Flagstaff in the middle of a storm. yuck

Drive safely! I know AZ has quite a lot of variation in climates...rain storm or snow storm in between you and your paycheck?

You need to talk your boss into direct deposit! It's easier for everyone.

You'll be gutted if he is playing a prank on you. Like when you got zapped in the eye. Heh heh.

Tribdog, how have you survived this long? I mean honestly, how? I need to know cause it might come in handy.

It's a special kind of luck. You can't learn it or acquire it, you have to be born with it.

You know, on a serious note, getting stabbed in the neck and living has made me feel a bit immortal. I am so far.

What's this serious note nonsense?! You can't win funniest member and then turn right around and start getting serious on us!

I lost handily on that one, so I can be serious...oweeeeeee! Does give you a bit of a different perspective, eh?

BTW, if you hadn't gotten back soon, we'd be worrying you didn't survive that trip to Flagstaff!

I slept at a rest stop in the front of my truck for about 3 hours

Well, glad you were smart enough to do that and that you're back safely. How bad was the storm?

It would probably do that to me too. But I'm young and stupid, I'm supposed to think that I'm immortal, you're supposed to know better.

actually I noticed the other day, as I was shaving, my skin goes where I push it, and it stays there. It used to snap back, now I'm like Stretch Armstrong. It slowly reforms into my face.

You're not allowed to admit to being old, because I'm too close to your age (though you're still older...neener neener).
