GO EAGLES I can't stand the patriots. The eagles are going to murder the patriots in 1 week.

The Pats were my 2nd favorite team a few years ago when Bledsoe started, but since he has left I can not stand the Pats, mainly because I do not like Brady. However, I am a Cowboys fan, sadly, so there is no way I can say that I want the Eagles to win. Lose Lose for me, go Eagles I guess.

Patriots must lose. I have my reasons.

Ironic it would be if they were the same as mine.

Go Eagles because they're from PA. Oh, and as a native Pittsburgher I have a grudge against the Pats, but that's a minor detail.

I'll be rooting for the Eagles (despite TO) because :

1. We can't be having dynasties, can we ?
2. The Eagles have made the playoffs 5 years in a row and have nothing to show for it.
3. I like McNabb.
4. They are the underdogs.

and now the important ones...

5. Brady is a Bush-man
6. Brady is from Michigan

Franz, what ulterior motives have you ?

I'll be watching the Superbowl in Pitt, with my immensely depressed cousin. He had such hopes for the Steelers, but he consoles himself that they were never really expected to do this well (after what, a 6-10 season last year ?); and that Ben's just a rookie, etc.

The 2 reasons I like the Eagles:

1. Brian Westbrook went to my school.
2. I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia.

Aww, everybody's a winner as long as they do their best and try really hard. *ducks and runs*

This should be a poll so we can see the consensus.

Funny thing, I was talking to my brother the day after the Steelers lost and my roommate said to me "he's going to start saying how much better they're going to be next year" right as he started to do so. If you're from Pittsburgh you know the drill by now!
Though I was amused by seeing the comparisons between the Steelers and the musical "Damn Yankees" throughout the season.

Brady is from Michigan

Actually Brady's from San Mateo, Ca. Even despite the fact he's from my place of birth, and was probably at the same niner games as me, rooting for Montana and co, I really don't like the guy much. Don't really have a reason either, kinda strange.

considering my husband is from Reading PA, and he is such a huge Eagles fan, I am going to have to say

GO EAGLES!

Well its a long story, but the short version is that the only girl that i ever pursued and didn't get is a huge patriots fan, and them losing is one more thing for me to tease her about. (we are still friends, its a rather long story in full detail).

I was going to root for the Patriots but it's in Boston which would give Red Sox fans something to cheer about and Brady is a Bush man so to hell with them!

DO you all really have to bring politics into this? ITS A FRIGGIN FOOT BALL GAME FOR PETES SAKE!

I eamn, you don't see me boycotting movies just because the liberal socialist from hell is the lead actor (read: most people in hollywood). Well with the exception of sean penn. But i wouldn't got to any of the movies he's done so far anyway, so that doesn't make much of a difference.

I meant the school, not the state. I'm a Buckeye, so you can understand the emotion there.

But you're okay with a former Michigander as long as they hated MI and couldn't care less about football, right?

(Which always begs the question, where are all the Michigeese?)[/size]
