Exploring Structural Acoustics and Vibration Analysis: A Student's Journey

How did you find PF?
I found PF through the "Relevant PhysicsForum posts" section featured on phys.org.
I am a third year chemistry student but I'm really good a physics and I like to help people and solve problems so I thought this might be fun. Lately I've been interested in structural acoustics and vibration analysis but right now that's sort of just a hobby. I used to work for Norsk Hydro in a production facility but right now I'm just a student.

I welcome any feedback so please don't hesitate to correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks!

Hello everyone, I was advised to join this community while seeking guidance on how to navigate the academic world as an independent researcher. My name is Omar, and I'm based in Groningen The Netherlands. My formal physics education ended after high school, but I have dedicated the last several years to developing a theoretical framework from first principles. My work focuses on a topological field theory (which I call Swirl-String Theory) that models particles as knotted vortex...
