AI Thread Summary
The discussion emphasizes the importance of seeking professionally administered IQ tests rather than relying on online versions, which are often seen as ineffective and merely games. It suggests that finding a local educational psychologist trained in administering legitimate IQ tests is the best approach, despite the associated costs. The conversation also highlights the belief that engaging in problem-solving tasks can enhance logical abilities, but stresses that many online IQ tests do not provide meaningful assessments. Overall, the consensus is that online tests are not reliable indicators of true intelligence.
