How Can I Balance My Hobby of Animating with Studying Science and Math?

Hello. I'm trying to get back in the swing of studying science and math.
I'm currently in between jobs.
I animate cartoons as a hobby but I haven't finished any projects for a long time because I get too caught up thinking about the math of the things I draw haha.
