AI Thread Summary
Setting up a new computer with SUSE 9.1 can be challenging, particularly when it comes to internet connectivity. Using a router simplifies the process. Many service providers (SPs) do not support Linux and are unhelpful with configuration settings. It is advisable to collect all necessary settings while still connected to the internet, as troubleshooting without a connection can be extremely difficult. This approach is beneficial for networking across all platforms.

its taken a while but I am now up and running with my new computer
with suse 9.1, the bigest problem was connecting to the net, the
easy way out was to use a router.
it seems not many SPs support linux, and are not very helpful when
asked for settings, so if anyone wants to use suse it will be best to
gather all the settings while a net connection is still possible as
without it its a nightmare.

Last night I had four docs with a red circle, one with blue. When I closed the blue and opened it again it was red. Today I have 3...
Thread 'ChatGPT Examples, Good and Bad'
I've been experimenting with ChatGPT. Some results are good, some very very bad. I think examples can help expose the properties of this AI. Maybe you can post some of your favorite examples and tell us what they reveal about the properties of this AI. (I had problems with copy/paste of text and formatting, so I'm posting my examples as screen shots. That is a promising start. But then I provided values V=1, R1=1, R2=2, R3=3 and asked for the value of I. At first, it said...
