How Do I Design a DNA Chip for Microfluidic Cell Analysis?

May I know how to design the DNA chip? What are the basic parameter I have to consider? The DNA chip will be used in microfluidic chamber for cells analysis.

The chip that I am using now is placed inside the PDMS chamber. I want to know how to design the DNA chip in order to save patient blood and have high output detection efficiency.
