SUMMARY

The discussion centers on identifying the "NUCLEI WALL" in fungi and understanding the two major types of fungi. Participants clarify that "nuclei" is the plural of "nucleus," which contains essential cellular material. For the second query, it is recommended to research the taxonomy of fungi to gain insights into the major classifications.

PREREQUISITES
  • Basic understanding of fungal cell structure
  • Knowledge of cellular biology terminology
  • Familiarity with fungal taxonomy
  • Research skills for academic resources
NEXT STEPS
  • Investigate fungal cell structures, focusing on the nucleus and its components
  • Study the taxonomy of fungi, specifically the two major types: Ascomycetes and Basidiomycetes
  • Explore academic resources on fungal biology, such as textbooks or scholarly articles
  • Utilize online databases for detailed information on fungal classifications
USEFUL FOR

Students studying mycology, biology educators, and researchers interested in fungal structures and classifications.

Google: FSHN101 Starch

I think Jim may be onto something.. Did you know nuclei is just 'more than one' nucleus?
It is the plural form. Do you know what the nucleus contains as compared with the rest of the cellular material? For your second question, you would do well to try a web search on taxonomy of fungi.
