In summary, a huge daytime fireball was seen over Israel earlier today (15 Apr 2023). Some people reported hearing a blast. There is at least one meteorite hunter/collector planning to travel from the USA to the Israel region, and there may be a database available for these fireball sightings through the American Meteor Society's website. It is likely that other countries, such as Ukraine, also have databases through the AMS.

Hi V50

the American Meteor Soc. does lots of data collecting from around the world
most probable that there are lists on their site

1. What caused the huge daytime fireball over Israel?

The huge daytime fireball over Israel was most likely caused by a meteor or asteroid entering Earth's atmosphere and burning up due to friction.

2. How common are daytime fireballs?

Daytime fireballs are relatively rare, with only a few being reported each year. They are more commonly seen at night when the contrast against the dark sky makes them easier to spot.

3. Was anyone hurt by the fireball?

No injuries have been reported from the fireball over Israel. Most meteors and asteroids burn up completely in the atmosphere before reaching the ground.

4. Can the fireball be seen from other countries?

It is possible that the fireball could have been seen from neighboring countries, depending on the size and brightness of the object. However, it is unlikely that it would have been visible from far away locations.

5. What can scientists learn from studying this fireball?

By studying the trajectory and composition of the fireball, scientists can gain a better understanding of the composition and movement of objects in our solar system. They can also use this information to better predict and prepare for potential future impacts.
