I want to work with electric vehicles. Chemist or Electrical Engineer?

In summary, a chemist primarily focuses on the chemical components and reactions involved in electric vehicles, while an electrical engineer specializes in the design and development of electrical systems and components. Both career paths can be beneficial for working with electric vehicles, but it ultimately depends on the individual's interests and skills. There are several recommended courses and training programs available for those interested in this field. Some potential job titles for a chemist include battery chemist, materials scientist, or electrochemical engineer, while an electrical engineer may hold titles such as electric vehicle engineer, powertrain engineer, or battery systems engineer. The demand for professionals in this field, specifically for chemists and electrical engineers, is currently growing and expected to continue to rise in the future.

I love Electric motors and vehicles, and i want to fully understand how electricity works and how is generated, i see that batteries have a lot of chemistry and the wires also have a lot of chemistry. So if i want to fully undertand how this things work should l go electrical engineering
or chemistry becouse of the batteries. Another parth of interest is the Solar energy by Photovoltaic cells.

Please some light.
