AI Thread Summary
In-line LaTeX functionality appears to have experienced issues, but users have reported that it is now working again. The discussion highlights the use of "itex" and "tex" tags, confirming that they still function properly for rendering mathematical expressions. Users noted that after composing a post, refreshing the browser may be necessary for the LaTeX to display correctly. The conversation indicates a connection between these issues and the earlier disappearance of the message editor for LaTeX tags.

Are the tags "itex" and "tex" still supposed to work?

tex tags:
\sqrt{17}
itex tags:
\sqrt{17}

Looks like they work just fine. After you're finished with your post, you might have to hit the browser's refresh button for the LaTeX to appear.
