AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers around the challenges and considerations of using a bike for a child with special needs, particularly regarding the suitability of different bike options for a long and lanky child. The spouse has experience running and has previously considered using a bike but is deterred by the high cost of spare wheelchairs and the weight of their current electric wheelchair. They explored options with a bike shop, which suggested a robust tow-vehicle for toddlers, though concerns about accessibility for the child were raised. Additionally, there is a lighthearted mention of a forum member, Borek, reaching a notable milestone of 12,999 posts.

Peru was still suffering the ills of a recent civil war and I knew it was dicey, but the money was too good to pass up. It was a long trip to Lima; about 14 hours of airtime...
