AI Thread Summary
The discussion highlights an interesting Microsoft add-in that has not been tested with Office 2007. While its appeal in the academic world is questioned, particularly for high school students who typically write short essays and lab reports, it may find more relevance at the university level where LaTeX is commonly used for complex documents. The add-in is noted for its user-friendly interface and aesthetic design, suggesting it could enhance user experience despite its limited application in certain educational contexts.

I'm not sure who would use it in the academic world really. In high school you probably have 2 years when you write short essays with simple equations and a few lab reports, then once at university level you start using latex.

I will admit however it looks rather user friendly and aesthetically pleasing.

Last night I had four docs with a red circle, one with blue. When I closed the blue and opened it again it was red. Today I have 3...
