I'll wager that many of us are potential scifi writers. I've tried a hand at it, but realized I'm better at writing other things.

My goal is simply to create my own scifi universe, to fix some of the stuff I don't like in scifi, while retaining what I do like.

Babylon 5 is superior to every form of Star Trek I have ever seen for plot and drama.

Yet Star Trek does have it's moments of greatness (Vulcans act the least human of any race, more so than any Babylon 5 race except perhaps the Vorlons).

Even so, both had elements I did not like, but overall I will admit that Babylon 5 was more gripping and left more if an effect than Trek.

Hello fellow Physics enthusiasts, I am an aeronautical engineering graduate (Bachelor's) who is interested in Physics and Mathematics, and I have been re-learning all the basics. I wanted to join a science forum, especially one dedicated to Physics and maths, to apply these subjects to my engineering studies. I hope to learn a lot through this forum. Thank you for your warm welcome.
