Magnetic permeability of water vapour

AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers on the difficulty in finding the magnetic permeability of water vapor, with a request for assistance. Participants suggest potential methods to estimate this value, such as using the dipole moment of water molecules. Several links to resources on permeability and magnetism are shared, although their relevance to water vapor is uncertain. A suggestion is made to check the spelling of "permeability," as it may have hindered the search for information. The thread highlights the challenge of locating specific scientific data on this topic.

Searched all over, still could not find the magnetic permability of water vapour. Please help!. email me at shellysharma@yahoo.com if you know the value.

Thanks for your time!

I have no idea what this is about, but a little searching and I came up with http://www.scielo.br/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&pid=S0104-66322004000200016" .

I found http://www.appchem.t.u-tokyo.ac.jp/appchem/labs/kitazawa/magnet/res/nakagawa.pdf" .

Those may be no help, but if you spelled permeability the same way you did in your post (an easy mistake), that might explain why you didn't find anything. Try again with corrected spelling (if that was the case).

Good luck!

Thread 'Motional EMF in Faraday disc, co-rotating magnet axial mean flux'
So here is the motional EMF formula. Now I understand the standard Faraday paradox that an axis symmetric field source (like a speaker motor ring magnet) has a magnetic field that is frame invariant under rotation around axis of symmetry. The field is static whether you rotate the magnet or not. So far so good. What puzzles me is this , there is a term average magnetic flux or "azimuthal mean" , this term describes the average magnetic field through the area swept by the rotating Faraday...
