Mathematica Math Equations for Physics Coursework: Assistance Needed

AI Thread Summary
To create equations for physics coursework, a user is struggling with exporting from Mathematica to a usable format for Word documents. They have downloaded Mathematica via WinEdt but can only produce PDF files, which are not suitable. A solution offered involves copying the Mathematica image into PowerPoint and then using PowerPoint's export features to save it in formats like JPEG, GIF, or PDF. This method allows for better compatibility with Word documents. Utilizing PowerPoint for image export can streamline the process of integrating equations into coursework.

Are you asking how to take a figure from mathematica and save it as a PDF because Word sucks at displaying mathematica images? Just copy the image into power point and then use power point to save the image as a JPEG, GIF, PDF, etc.

...and it has a pretty decent set of export features itself, say just right click on what you want to export and a menu which will help you should pop up.
