Hello everyone, I'm currently in the third year of my ME degree in Argentina. For the last 2 years I've had the intention of doing the last 2 years in the Balseiro Institute, the most prestigious institution in physics in Argentina.
But, despite i really want it, I'm not 100% sure about it. I don't know about its recognition in engineering in international circles, can you tell me anything about this? If i want to work, or pursue posgraduate studies, in Europe or US, will my chances be improved?
Thanks,
Santiago

TL;DR Summary: I want to do a PhD in applied math but I hate group theory, is this a big problem? Hello, I am a second-year math and physics double major with a minor in data science. I just finished group theory (today actually), and it was my least favorite class in all of university so far. It doesn't interest me, and I am also very bad at it compared to other math courses I have done. The other courses I have done are calculus I-III, ODEs, Linear Algebra, and Prob/Stats. Is it a...
