Modelling the Earth's Magnetic Field

AI Thread Summary
For a school project modeling the Earth's magnetic field in 3D, using thin iron wires around a sphere is recommended. These wires should be bent and fixed at the poles to accurately represent the magnetic field lines. Additionally, placing a magnet inside the sphere can simulate the Earth's magnetic field pattern effectively. Demonstrating the model can involve showing how magnetic compasses align with the field. This approach combines visual representation with practical demonstration for educational purposes.

hey everyone,
this is for a school project, I'm wondering what would be the best for building a model to represent the Earth's magnetic field. it has to be 3D so what would be the best way to represent this? Also it has to do a demonstration what would be a good way of demonstrating the Earth's magnetic field thru the model. Any suggestions would be Greatly appreciated.

use thin iron wires around the sphere. you need to bend them and fix them at the poles.

you can hide a magnet inside the sphere which would have a similar magnetic field pattern.

I don't get how to argue it. i can prove: evolution is the ability to adapt, whether it's progression or regression from some point of view, so if evolution is not constant then animal generations couldn`t stay alive for a big amount of time because when climate is changing this generations die. but they dont. so evolution is constant. but its not an argument, right? how to fing arguments when i only prove it.. analytically, i guess it called that (this is indirectly related to biology, im...
