I had this idea that maybe sometime we could try a "themed" chat one Sunday. Like maybe we all watch the same movie at the same time. (A cheezy horror movie that we could make fun of might work well. Plan 9, for example. Or something like they used to show on Mystery Science Theater 3000.) That would be fun if we could synchronize it.

hey not bad! I've done that a few times with my friends over msn (by accident when we were bored and happened to be watching the same cheesy movie on TV at 4 AM) and it's quite fun. Cheesy chick flicks or cheesy old horror movies are especially fun.

if we do this I'll have to make sure I'm up before 4 pm somehow  I over-sleep just a little on weekends

Can we also see that movie in Australia and Thailand or Japan, how about Europe?

Where are you, Moe? I am still not sure of everyone's time zones.

I guess we just have to figure out something that we can all easily get a copy of.

You can do a theme and create a separate chat room for those that want to participate. That way, people that aren't participating won't be interrupting the conversation.

Good idea. Is it very complicated to create a separate room?

No. Actually there is a button for it next to the room drop bar.

I'm in Canada; only an hour's difference. I just go to bed and wake up real late during the weekend

I've had this power all along and didn't even know it!

Yep! You can create a room with any title, then go occupy it. Unoccupied rooms, except the permanent Science Chat room and regular Chat room disappear if they are not occupied.

Exactly. For example: I was the one who created the timeout room and sent all of the invites.

And a lot of us goofus-doofuses wandered over there to see if the lame-os in "time out" could out-number the boners in regular chat. It can get nasty during chat!

DO NOT WATCH THE SCI-FI channel.

The movie was awful, and I could not turn it off. It was like a black hole that sucked 2 hours of my life away. The acting, woof, I smell oscar.

Cyrus, you are such a delight. And since we seem to have the same tastes. What movies should I avoid?

I LOVE really really bad movies.

LOVE THEM.

crappy movie that takes itself too seriously + actors so bad they are clearly porn actors or informercial actors trying to "break out" into serious acting + pseudo-philosophical plot-line with a message = best movie ever

anyone see that kevin bacon movie where they kill his son and all of a sudden he turns into kevin bacon ninja master. OMG!

best
movie
ever

accidentally stumbling upon a really bad movie like that on TV makes me giddy like a schoolgirl

The funniest unintentional comedy of the year!

o man, it's one of those movies where the good guy could literally be lying in a bathtub, and the bad guy aims a shotgun at him, yet somehow still misses the shot... wait.. that ACTUALLY HAPPENS!
