MS in Renewable Energy: A Civil Engineers Path to Wind Turbines

AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers on a final-year Civil Engineering student expressing a strong interest in pursuing innovations, particularly in wind turbine technology and renewable energy. The student is considering a Master's degree in renewable energy but notes that in India, the available programs, such as ME or MTech, have a fixed syllabus with a focus on theoretical knowledge and exams. The student prefers practical experience over traditional academic learning and seeks suggestions for courses that offer hands-on opportunities in renewable energy, especially in wind turbine projects.

Actually in INDIA, for Renewable Energy there is ME(Master in Engineering) or MTech but both are have fixed syllabus and in last sem one project is there. Unfortunately I'm interested in practical knowledge instead of reading books n exam!

Hey, I am Andreas from Germany. I am currently 35 years old and I want to relearn math and physics. This is not one of these regular questions when it comes to this matter. So... I am very realistic about it. I know that there are severe contraints when it comes to selfstudy compared to a regular school and/or university (structure, peers, teachers, learning groups, tests, access to papers and so on) . I will never get a job in this field and I will never be taken serious by "real"...
