Natural frequency from time domain and frequency domain plot

Click For Summary
To determine the first and second natural frequencies from accelerometer data on a cantilever beam, analyzing the frequency spectrum is essential. Users are encouraged to upload their frequency spectrum plots for better assistance. The initial resonant modes typically appear clearly in these plots. Understanding the time domain data can also provide insights into the system's dynamic behavior. Analyzing both domains will enhance the accuracy of identifying natural frequencies.

Anyone have an idea to find a first and second natural frequency from time domain and frequency domain plot resulting from an accelerometer measuring the vibration in cantilever beam ?

Thanks very much :)

Welcome to PF kay10287,

What have you done so far on this problem? Can you upload a plot of the frequency spectrum of the accelerometer measurement for us? I imagine that the first few resonant modes should be fairly obvious in a plot of the frequency spectrum.
