SUMMARY

This discussion focuses on troubleshooting issues in Mathematica related to solving simultaneous equations and performing summation processes. The user is currently working with variables m = 1 and n = 1, seeking assistance to rectify problems in their code. A key insight shared is that superscript and subscript formatting can interfere with function execution, leading to errors. The recommendation is to use alternative variable formats such as Bo16 or Bo[16] to avoid confusion.

PREREQUISITES
  • Familiarity with Mathematica syntax and functions
  • Understanding of simultaneous equations
  • Knowledge of summation processes in programming
  • Experience with variable formatting in Mathematica
NEXT STEPS
  • Explore Mathematica's documentation on solving simultaneous equations
  • Learn about variable formatting best practices in Mathematica
  • Research techniques for debugging code in Mathematica
  • Investigate the use of the Do loop for iterative processes in Mathematica
USEFUL FOR

Mathematica users, programmers dealing with mathematical computations, and anyone troubleshooting code involving simultaneous equations and summation processes.

Hi everyone,

Please help me to rectify my problem using Mathematica. I got this difficulty on the very last code i.e, solving the simultaneous equation and Do summation process. The remaining codes are all working nicely.

As you can see in the attached file, Iam using only variables m = 1, n = 1. Once I have got the result for this case, I will continue for the rest of the loop.

Any response is very much appreciated.

thanks

There is too much to troubleshoot in detail, but I have found that sometimes the nice superscript and subscript formatting can confuse certain functions. I tend to avoid it and instead use variables like Bo16 or even Bo[16].
