AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers around a unique exercise involving chanting phrases to explore emotional responses. Participants are encouraged to chant "I love you" aloud for five minutes, then internally, focusing first on loved ones, then on neutral individuals, and finally on all people over three nights. The second phase involves chanting "I hate you" using the same method. A third chant is suggested, but details are vague, inviting participants to analyze their experiences. One user expresses a desire to gather feedback on the outcomes of these exercises, noting that three friends have already tried it. There is also a side conversation about the technical difficulties of posting and creating polls, with suggestions for resolving these issues. Another participant theorizes that chanting may serve as a form of autogenic hypnosis, potentially influencing one's consciousness and emotional state. The discussion invites further exploration of the effects of these chants and their variations.

You can try deleting the post, by selecting "edit" and then "delete" up at the top of the page. Although you might want to "copy" the original information and paste it into the new thread.

This way you should be able to start all over again and create a new poll at the same time.

hi

i postulate
in one plane we are all autogenically hypnotising
chanting anything ties up system resources by utilising that sphere of conciousness
purposefully directing your psyche using meaningfull phrases may do something
at least internally

chant of the binares

second chant
0101010101010101010 aloud then silent
mutation try
randomicity ie.. 010010101010101011110101010
if you tried first autohypnogogic

was this experience different

Similar to the 2024 thread, here I start the 2025 thread. As always it is getting increasingly difficult to predict, so I will make a list based on other article predictions. You can also leave your prediction here. Here are the predictions of 2024 that did not make it: Peter Shor, David Deutsch and all the rest of the quantum computing community (various sources) Pablo Jarrillo Herrero, Allan McDonald and Rafi Bistritzer for magic angle in twisted graphene (various sources) Christoph...
Thread 'My experience as a hostage'
I believe it was the summer of 2001 that I made a trip to Peru for my work. I was a private contractor doing automation engineering and programming for various companies, including Frito Lay. Frito had purchased a snack food plant near Lima, Peru, and sent me down to oversee the upgrades to the systems and the startup. Peru was still suffering the ills of a recent civil war and I knew it was dicey, but the money was too good to pass up. It was a long trip to Lima; about 14 hours of airtime...
