SUMMARY

To apply AC voltage to a circuit using an oscilloscope, first connect the AC signal source to the circuit. The oscilloscope is primarily a measurement tool, not a voltage source. After connecting the AC source, attach the oscilloscope probes to the desired points in the circuit to measure the voltage. This method allows for real-time observation of the AC voltage behavior within the circuit.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of AC signal generation
  • Familiarity with oscilloscope operation
  • Basic knowledge of circuit components
  • Ability to interpret oscilloscope waveforms
NEXT STEPS
  • Research AC signal generation techniques
  • Learn advanced oscilloscope features and settings
  • Study circuit analysis for AC circuits
  • Explore troubleshooting methods for circuit measurement
USEFUL FOR

Electronics enthusiasts, circuit designers, and engineers who need to measure AC voltage in circuits using oscilloscopes.

what exactly are you trying to do ? what is the circuit ?

An oscilloscope is for measuring signals/voltages in a circuit, not applying them to a circuit

um... apply the ac source to the circuit. Then hook up the oscilloscope to wherever you want to read the voltage from.
