How fast are protons and electrons moving within a star?

They have a very wide range of velocities, with different velocity profiles for different regions of the star, since the star has regions of varying temperatures. Unfortunately I can't give you a number to go off of.

Speed of molecules in ideal gas is described by Maxwell–Boltzmann distribution. It should be good approximation to speeds of molecules in stars.
