Homework Statement
What is the partial pressure of 1 ppm O2 knowing that the total pressure is 760 torr?
Relevant Equations
pO2 = P total . x
Hi all!

I have a question ...
I have to calculate the partial pressure of O2
Ccan I calculate the mole fraction from the data of 1 ppm of O2?
The total pressure is 760 torr
Thank you!

This is poorly defined, as ppm can be by volume, by mass or by molar fraction, as long as it is not clear which version we are dealing with calculations are not obvious.

Assuming it is the molar fraction - this is a direct application of the partial pressure definition.
