AI Thread Summary
Amateur researchers in physics are seeking platforms to submit their work and engage with professors from prestigious institutions. Recommendations include starting discussions with their own professors and utilizing the independent research section of specific forums, while adhering to submission guidelines. It is advised against mass-emailing professors, as this approach is likely to be ineffective. Overall, the Physics Forums (PF) is highlighted as a valuable resource for such interactions.

Students should be talking to their own professors first. Amateurs can submit in the independent research section on this site (read the rules first) or try to contact someone nearby them to talk about their research, but don't bother mass-emailing people, you'll just get ignored.

Hello, I graduated from undergrad a few years ago with a Major in Physics and minor in Electrical Engineering. I tried to get experience working on and testing circuits through my professor who studied Neutrinos, however covid caused the opportunity to go away and I graduated with no experience or internships. I have attempted to break into the engineering industry with no success. Right now I am considering going for a Masters in Electrical Engineering and I need advice on if this would be...
