What Is RF Engineering and Its Role in Radio Frequency Technology?

What is RF engineering?

rf = radio frequency
 
this engineering deals with the "radio" part of the electromagnetic spectrum 10^-1m and higher wavelengths. This is the part of the spectrum I would really love to work on in electrical and computer engineering.
