AI Thread Summary
The discussion revolves around the search for information on a specific company that manufactures affordable communication satellites. The user recalls that the satellites were lightweight and priced ambiguously between $200,000 and $12 million. Despite the vague details, they emphasize the need for precise information to identify the satellite manufacturer. The response highlights the difficulty in pinpointing the company with such limited specifics and suggests consulting a comprehensive list of spacecraft manufacturers for better clarity. Overall, the inquiry reflects a challenge in tracking down relevant satellite information due to the lack of concrete details.

I have lost some very valuable information about a company which was building economical/affordable communication/internet satellites. They were light weight, but this was not a small satellite. The price was either about 2 million or 12 million, or somewhere between. It could have been 200 000 US dollars. I'm not sure. But please, help me find any information about this specific satellite based on those facts. A satellite manufacturer, a private satellite, communication satellite, light weight, a few million dollars.

This is hopelessly vague. You're going to need to do better than "The price was either about 2 million or 12 million, or somewhere between. It could have been 200 000 US dollars" if you want someone to identify this.

TL;DR Summary: In 3 years, the Square Kilometre Array (SKA) telescope (or rather, a system of telescopes) should be put into operation. In case of failure to detect alien signals, it will further expand the radius of the so-called silence (or rather, radio silence) of the Universe. Is there any sense in this or is blissful ignorance better? In 3 years, the Square Kilometre Array (SKA) telescope (or rather, a system of telescopes) should be put into operation. Thread 'Could gamma-ray bursts have an intragalactic origin?'
This is indirectly evidenced by a map of the distribution of gamma-ray bursts in the night sky, made in the form of an elongated globe. And also the weakening of gamma radiation by the disk and the center of the Milky Way, which leads to anisotropy in the possibilities of observing gamma-ray bursts. My line of reasoning is as follows: 1. Gamma radiation should be absorbed to some extent by dust and other components of the interstellar medium. As a result, with an extragalactic origin, fewer...

Your posts, clips and photos may by all means include scientific information; that does not make it less beautiful to me (n.b. the posts must of course comply with the PF guidelines, i.e. regarding science, only mainstream science is allowed, fringe/pseudoscience is not allowed). n.b.
