AI Thread Summary
A fresh graduate from Europe seeking a traineeship in the US for over six months is exploring options for securing a paid placement in production engineering and product development. Engaging with recruitment agencies is recommended, as they typically operate on a success-based payment model, charging fees only if they successfully place candidates in positions. This approach can enhance the chances of finding suitable opportunities in the competitive job market.

I'm using an opportunity of being a fresh graduate and want to do a traineeship for >6months in US. Can you give me any useful links or let me know what are my chances in getting a paid placement? I am from Europe with some background in production engineering and product development.

It's not a bad idea to register with recruitment agencies, they do what they do,
Usually the deal is you only pay them if they actually find an interesting position for you, and you get the job.
