Wasn't there a thread explaining how to use special characters on the board? I remember seeing one, but I can't find it for anything. I did a search for a few different keywords and I kept getting zero results.

If there was never a thread on this, then I guess I'm offically losing my mind.

Hi there,

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble finding the thread on how to use special characters on the board. I did a quick search myself and couldn't find one either. It's possible that the thread was deleted or moved to a different section.

However, don't worry, you're not losing your mind! There are a few things you can try to find the information you need. First, make sure you're using the correct keywords in your search. You can also try using quotation marks around the keywords to narrow down the results.

Another option is to reach out to other members of the community and ask if they remember the thread or if they have any tips on using special characters on the board. You can also try reaching out to the moderators or the customer support team for assistance.

I hope you're able to find the information you need soon. Best of luck!

Thread 'My experience as a hostage'
I believe it was the summer of 2001 that I made a trip to Peru for my work. I was a private contractor doing automation engineering and programming for various companies, including Frito Lay. Frito had purchased a snack food plant near Lima, Peru, and sent me down to oversee the upgrades to the systems and the startup. Peru was still suffering the ills of a recent civil war and I knew it was dicey, but the money was too good to pass up. It was a long trip to Lima; about 14 hours of airtime...
