Nursery school children as young as three are being introduced to controversial books that encourage them to question their gender identity, according to a report in the Daily Express. These materials, funded by a government-supported LGBT charity, feature characters grappling with their gender. The discussion raises concerns about the appropriateness of such content for toddlers, with some arguing that the focus should be on educating parents about LGBT issues rather than directly addressing young children. The thread was closed to prevent further political debate.
