helo..

We know that 1+1 = 2.

but try this out..there is some dummy things goes around here

Firstly, we denote
1 + 1 = 1 + \sqrt{1}
<=> 1 + \sqrt{(-1)(-1)}
<=> 1 + \sqrt{-1}\sqrt{-1}
<=> 1 + i*i
<=> 1 + (-1)
<=> 0 ??

how come 1+1=0 ?
and where is the mistake ?

Is it true 1 = \sqrt{1} ?

EDIT:

Never mind, I was never good at maths. Didn't read what you put properly :P

I was going to say the same...

1 + 1 = 0 mod 2
