AI Thread Summary
The Surfer Dude Theory of Everything (T.O.E) suggests the existence of over 20 undiscovered particles. While the theory is intriguing, there are significant inconsistencies that need to be resolved before it can be considered a definitive theory of everything. The discussion has previously taken place in the Beyond The Standard Model forum, where Lisi, a contributor, has engaged with members. Participants are encouraged to continue the conversation in that dedicated space. Overall, the theory remains a topic of interest but requires further validation.

Yeah I saw an article on this. The details go far beyond my breadth of knowledge, but I did hear that the theory predicts 20 some particles that have yet to be discovered. I wouldn't get to excited about this being the theory of everything. It may be, but there still are several inconsistencies that need to be dealt with before it reaches that point.

So I know that electrons are fundamental, there's no 'material' that makes them up, it's like talking about a colour itself rather than a car or a flower. Now protons and neutrons and quarks and whatever other stuff is there fundamentally, I want someone to kind of teach me these, I have a lot of questions that books might not give the answer in the way I understand. Thanks
I am attempting to use a Raman TruScan with a 785 nm laser to read a material for identification purposes. The material causes too much fluorescence and doesn’t not produce a good signal. However another lab is able to produce a good signal consistently using the same Raman model and sample material. What would be the reason for the different results between instruments?
