The discussion highlights excitement over a Kickstarter project for the Mighty Pizza Oven 2, praised for its innovative design and quick cooking capabilities. Users compare it to traditional pizza stones, noting that it cooks pizza in under five minutes on a grill, significantly faster than the 15-17 minutes required for homemade pizzas. The incorporation of scientific principles into the product's presentation is also appreciated, enhancing its appeal. Concerns are raised about compatibility with smaller grills, but overall enthusiasm for the product's potential remains high.

I saw this thing on Kickstarter this morning and I have to say it's pretty awesome. The structure of it is pretty cool and the end product looks delish

hmmm I have a pizza stone for the kitchen oven that makes good pizza. Why is this better?

Just watching him throw it on the grill for less than 5 minutes was crazy to me. Especially since my homemade pizza takes 15-17 minutes to bake.

True! I only have a small gas camping grill though :(

I also love it when people incorporate science into their Kickstarter pages

Peru was still suffering the ills of a recent civil war and I knew it was dicey, but the money was too good to pass up. It was a long trip to Lima; about 14 hours of airtime...
