AI Thread Summary
The discussion critiques the validity of the "My Big TOE" theory, suggesting it leans more towards philosophy than physics. Participants express skepticism about the credibility of personal theories, arguing that legitimate scientific theories should be published in peer-reviewed journals rather than in popular science or philosophy books. The conversation highlights a common perception that personal theories, especially those lacking rigorous scientific validation, may be viewed as less credible or even "crackpot" ideas.
