Troubleshooting Phonescape Compiler: Device Not Ready Error

everytime i go on my compiler(phonescape) it says this this device is not reeady... press any key to continue i do that but then it just closes any help ?

please help!

I had a Microsoft Technical interview this past Friday, the question I was asked was this : How do you find the middle value for a dataset that is too big to fit in RAM?
